That's what I was thinking to do, Jen.   You're right.  I was caught off guard, and this is someone who works in my synagogue, but he has a Cuban SO, and I don't know him, or his family....

He will probably never mention it to me again..I hope.  But if he does, this time I shall be ready.

A Cuban jail is not aplace I wish to see.
We can hope he just seen an opportunity to get some money over to his friends Mother, whom maybe in need.

There must not be many safe ways to be able to do that.
As I am sure one would not trust the mailing system there for sending money.

Seems he must of trusted you but of course one can fully understand the fears setting in once you got home and thought about it.  I did smile a little as did Gordon when read this out to him. We had some lovely scenarios going on, what you could be carrying. A Cuban jail, would not suit you..smiley: wink

Lynnears if he does ask again, why not be upfront. Tell him of your concerns, as I am sure he would understand them. Honesty is always the best policy, yah taught me over time...Can you find out if this is illegal or legal what he wants you to take over. . Maybe just a kind gesture on there part and nothing criminal in it but please take heed of your concerns.

I would carry nothing I have not seen the inside contents for one, checked on the legal side of carrying whatever happened to be..Envelope or not.
