Jim:

Don't use AOL mail sites. No one can access an attachment there even if you post a link to it here. It requires an account name and password.
It doesn't even work if you HAVE an aol account (I do, and I tried).  Apparently that photo goes into Lyn's aol private folder that no one can link to except the owner of that account.

Lynnears, I just did a test and loaded a photo from my iPhone here. The easiest way is to download the Photobucket app to your iPhone. When you open it, you can open the appropriate folder of photos on your iPhone and select the one(s) you want to upload to Photobucket. Click on Upload and it should take a few seconds. Then when you go to post on Yuku, just click on the "insert image from photo bucket" icon (on mine, it's just left of the smiley face) and thumbnails of your images should appear. Click on what you want.
Lyn, Jim's suggestion above is actually very similar to what I suggested in the other thread. And works just as well.

The only difference is that the method above stores your images (photos) in photobucket -- while the method I suggested stores them in the Yuku website (as part of your "profile"). But the idea is pretty much the same.

Something you should look at just to get the idea:  The next time you are replying to a post (or making a new post) look at the two buttons just to the left of the smiley face above the post-entry screen.  Those are the buttons you use to insert images into your text.

Try putting your cursor over each of those buttons and leave it there for a second or two.

One button will display "Insert Image" -- that button links to your images in Yuku which you can click on, find your photo, and drop into a post.

The other button will display "Insert image from photobucket" -- which will do the same thing -- and shows the photos in your photobucket account (the first time you use that method Yuku will walk you through the screens that will link the accounts together.  It's self-explanatory and very simple).

I know this may sound complicated, but once you have played around with it a bit it's pretty simple.

Lillian:

I'm having problems with YouTube videos that don't the old embed code.

This is a new thing with Yuku -- and it's actually a significant improvement.

The "old" embed code used an <object> tag -- which was the only thing Yuku recognized.

But most video sites -- and most recently, many (if not all) of the YouTube displays -- are using the <iframe> tag. Which Yuku wouldn't recognize until last few months (there were some odd work-arounds but it was a real pain).

For my purposes it now works great -- but that's because I spend a lot of time using the "HTML" button. I don't know whether you know how to do that or not.

If you can figure out how to do that it lets you embed just about any video that gives you an "iframe" (or "object") embed code. That's how I was able to embed the Houston news video on the other board.
