I went kinda out of the loop of my friends. All married with the 2.5 children.  As I went through years of, never ever going to get involved with another man, after a messy/nightmarish of a  relationship. Lasted for 8 years before took a wrong turn. smiley: wink Glad finally took a right turn on that score.

In those 8 odd years, plus before this even, went to night classes after work.

Adult education classes, not sure if you have this sort of thing over there.

As could hardly read or write back then, first started with literacy classes/English/maths/computers/ Ancient civilization/photography/art/Tai chi in the park/meditation classes just to name a few I have done over time. Even tried a writer work shop at one stage.

Also I got myself involved in a lot of community based activity, planting trees , went on rally and marched down the street, you know tie oneself to a tree and all that. Cleaning up different areas of rubbish. Helping out at the animal rescue shelter if not like the idea of going into classes.

The point of this little story- you meet lots of wonderful people and there are so many different areas one could choose from. Many I just did for fun or to see if could find some hidden talent.

Looking at them myself again.
