Most of the them simply don't have the ears to hear and respond to their patients' screams and torment.

I personally know of only one ENT worth his weight.
Doctors, like most any people, vary from the highest degree of servitude to the lowest degree of sucktitude.

When it comes to ENT's and tinnitus, the first thing they need to do is rule out any physical cause that can be addressed (acoustic neuroma etc). Once they ruled that out, some will sorta push you out the door, while others may offer an ear and respond to your questions and maybe even put in a script for a benzo if requested. Other than that, what characteristics, in your opinion seperates the good ENT's from the bad ones when it comes to tinnitus?
